Who is Gloo?

Lorin Bourassa, Owner: I was born and grew-up in Estevan, Saskatchewan. I love the fact that I grew up in a small town but had the chance to live in larger urban centers later in my life. After university, I spent a few years in Japan studying the language. Nothing opens your eyes to the world than a different culture - I'll always cherish my time in Japan and the people I met there! I then moved to Vancouver and have been in the sales, service and account management and channel management of software applications (mostly CRM) for over 10 years. I've had the privilege to work with some fantastic people at companies like Pivotal and Business Objects (now SAP). In that time, I have spoken to thousands of customers who are looking to improve the efficiency of their business through automating some process. One thing is common amongst all of them - they all sought the best value (not just price - value) for their money. Once I saw Zoho and what it has to offer, I knew I had to work with it! You will not find better value for your money than Zoho. I love my life now as an entrepreneur and look forward to showing others the value I see in Zoho. I'm really excited to be working with Ali who literally wrote the book on Zoho!

Ali Shabdar, Business Analyst: I am Ali Shabdar and I live in Vancouver, British Columbia with my family. Currently I work for Vancity, Canada’s biggest credit union. I’m a part of an awesome team working on various process transformation projects. I also do business analysis and SaaS consultancy for a cool Zoho reseller, Gloo International. Other than that occasional web development and small hacks here and there keep me busy. Back in October 2009 Apress published my first book, Foundation Zoho. It explains in detail how to run your day to day business in the cloud using Zoho services.
